Kendrick, CSP is recognized as a thought leader in areas of management, leadership, safety, education and training.
Prior to forming Kendrick Global Enterprises LLC, he was the Director, Global EHS Training for Textron Inc., Providence RI, a $14.2 billion Fortune 500 multi-industry conglomerate with major brands
such as Bell Helicopter, Cessna, E-Z Go, Greenlee, Kautex and Jacobsen. In this role, he was responsible for developing and leading EHS training strategies for businesses in 29 different countries
with 45,000 employees worldwide. Prior to this position, Skipper was Corporate Manager, Industrial Safety and Hygiene for Bell Helicopter, a world leader in helicopter and tiltrotor production with
manufacturing facilities, sales and service centers in the U.S. and 30 other countries around the world.
Skipper holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Technology, with a safety option, from Louisiana State University. He is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and a
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) by examination. Skipper holds ASSP’s Certificate in Safety Management and Executive Safety Certificate, as well as a 32-hour Certificate in Human Performance
Improvement from the University of Idaho. He holds certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
He is a past Society President and has served in numerous voluntary positions at the Chapter, Region and National level.
Skipper is a recipient of ASSP’s highest honor, that of being named a Society Fellow, and was recently inducted into the inaugural class of ASSP’s Region III Safety Hall of Fame. In 2021, Skipper was
presented the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He is a recipient of ASSP’s National Edgar Monsanto Queeny Safety Professional of the Year Award and has been
recognized as Safety Professional of the Year Greater Baton Rouge Chapter, Fort Worth Chapter and Region III.
Recognized by Bongarde SafetyXchange as National Safety Trainer of the Year, he presents a wide variety of management, leadership, general safety, safety management, workplace training and
communication seminars to audiences including Federal and State OSHA, varied Workers’ Compensation programs, general industry, educational institutions and trade or professional organizations within
the U.S., Canada and Europe. Skipper is the co-author and facilitator for Safety Management I and II and Corporate Safety Management, required courses for ASSP’s Certificate in Safety Management. He
is also a faculty member of the Society’s Executive Safety Certificate program.
Skipper served as an adjunct instructor at Southeastern Oklahoma State University teaching graduate studies in safety management. He is an instructor within UTA’s Region VI OSHA Education Center and
UTA’s Environmental Training Institute.
